Apparent pharmacokinetic parameters of Shengfu injection, a first-aid traditional Chinese medicine, were determined by acute mortality of animals. The results suggested that the pharmacokinetics of Shengfu injection accords with the two compartment open model, and t-1/2alpha = 0.063 h, t-1/2beta = 2.70 h. The process of distribution was quite rapid, and the process of elimination was slow.
