One-day-old chicks housed with chicks that had been inoculated intratracheally with the H-52 Dutch vaccine strain developed a fairly severe respiratory disease. At six weeks of age, three of ten female birds that were killed had cystic oviducts and four showed post-inflammatory atrophy of one kidney.
