The booklet contains two studies, viz H. Bach's discussion of the occupational and geographical mobility of farm and forestry workers and a study directed by J. Kolbinger in co-operation with /. Jakob. Both studies refer to an Upper Austrian administrative unit (Perg), situated north of the Danube and consisting of three juridical districts with 26 communities. The first study analyzes farm production, the economic situation and the structure of non-farm enterprises of an industrial nature.
