A Thai woman was treated with praziquantel at 50 mg/kg for O. viverrini infection. Before treatment, the duodenal juice contained 180 parasite ova/ml, and 12 h after treatment 3486 ova/ml were detected. 5 adult flukes (mostly disintegrated) were recovered from the juice after treatment.
