An enriched population (> 60%) of bovine eosinophils was prepared by density gradient centrifugation, on a density gradient medium of sp gr 1.092. Viability was about 95%, and the eosinophils were functional in chemokinetic and antibody-dependent cellular-cytotoxicity assays.
