Isolated cysts of Cysticercus bovis were recovered from 29 of 110 bulls at post mortem in Czechoslovakia. Of these animals positive reactions were obtained from 11 (37.9%) using the indirect haemagglutination (IHA) test, 15 (51.7%) using microprecipitation in agar (MPA) and 3 (10.3%) using the immunofluorescence reaction (IFR) test. At post mortem cysts were recovered from 18 (21.95%) of 82 bulls serologically negative with IHA, 14 (20.0%) of 71 negative with MPA and 21 (29.5%) of 71 negative with IFR.
