The development of methods for separation of fermentation broths with the purpose of providing high levels of separation stability with reference to mycoheptin showed that the process of separation of the antibiotic fermentation broth may be significantly intensified by a proper choice of chemical coagulants and continuous automatic centrifuges of the FGN type, allowing complete elimination of manual labor.
