In gilts injected with a mixture of 500 IU PMS and 250 IU HCG for induction of sexual maturity, storage of the solution for 48, 85 or 183 days at 4 deg C in a refrigerator had no significant effect on the number of follicles formed, mean weights of uterus and ovary, or on the course of ovulation. The proportion of gilts with follicle cysts decreased with increase in duration of storage.
