Fifteen patients with liver disorders were treated for 3 mo. with 960 mg calcium-2,2'-disulfohexanoate at the Medical Clinic of Cagliari University, Cagliari Sardinia. Repeated checks of humoral parameters and clinical conditions did not provide evidence of blood dyscrasia or other relevant side effects. A fair improvement of subjective symptoms and of some biochemical tests were observed, particularly of transaminases and .gamma.GT.
