Systolic pressure of the pulmonary artery and parameters of central blood circulation were studied in patients with non-specific pulmonary diseases before and 1 hour after oral administration of cinnarizine (38 patients) and corinfar (22 patients). The control group consisted of 16 patients who were treated with euphyllin. It was found that the parameters under study were decreased prior to the administration of these drugs, while the minute blood volume had a tendency to increase. The decrease in systolic pressure in the pulmonary artery and specific peripheral resistance and increase in the minute blood volume were more pronounced due to corinfar administration. The ECG findings demonstrated that myocardial hypoxia and the load on the right heart decreased and parameters of external respiratory function improved. It is recommended that corinfar and cinnarizine should be used to correct pulmonary and central blood circulation in these patients; corinfar prescription requires consideration of the hemodynamic type.
