Results from observations of 131 patients showed that complex diagnosis for local forms of lymphogranulomatosis [Hodgkin's disease] with modern research methods allowed for an early diagnosis of the illness, when a radical operation was still possible. The use of surgical methods in complex treatment of a local lymphogranuloma provided for long-term remissions of 8-10 yr or more. In the 1st stage of the illness, sheath dessication of the tumorous conglomerate was apparent. With patients who have had radical treatment and when recurrence seemed possible, supportive treatment improved the patients' general condition.
