Viability of Neoascaris vitulorum (Goeze, 1782) eggs under different physical and chemical conditions

Exposure to boiling water or to direct sunlight for 1.0 to 1.5 hours killed Neoascaris vitulorum eggs, as shown by their inability to develop in rats. The eggs were also killed by immersion in lysol (2% solution for 2 hours, 2.5% for 30 min or 3% for 15 min.).
