Medroxyprogesterone acetate at a i.v. dose of 25 .mu.g/100 g body weight once in 10 days produced sterility in 50% of male rats after 6 mo. of treatment without altering the weight of accessory genital organs other than epididymis, spermatogenesis and libido. The motility of spermatozoa was partially affected.
