Precipitating antibodies against Entamoeba histolytica in liver pus--a preliminary communication

Precipitating antibodies against Entamoeba histolytica have been demonstrated by counterimmunoelectrophoresis in 11 of 15 "pus" samples and in 14 of the corresponding serum samples from 15 cases of amoebic liver abscess. The titres were always lower in the "pus".
