A double-blind comparison of two oxazine compounds, phenmetrazinc hydrochloride and phew limetrazinc bitartrate, in the treatment of 54 obese patients demonstrates that phenmetrazine is significantly more effective than phendinietrazine in achieving weight loss under the conditions of the study. In the dosages employed, the two agents were about equivalent ill producing signs of central nervous stimulation or other side effects
