A Rare Case of Adenoma of Brunner's Glands

A case of adenoma of the duodenum is reported. The glands of the submucosa Brunner's glands-were the sites of origin of the tumor. The clinical course of this nonmalignant tumor was similar to that of the duodenal ulcer. The defect of the upper duodenal wall, revealed on roentgenographic examination, presented severe diagnostic difficulties. Surgical treatment, which consisted exclusively of excision, was successful.
