Ovine paralysis associated with spinal lesions of toxoplasmosis

Two Cheviot sheep, six months of age, developed a progressive paralysis of the limbs shortly after purchase. They had a persistent fever and elevated leucocyte counts. Extensive perivascular cuffing was found in the histological sections of the spinal cord and several Toxoplasma pseudocysts were seen.
