M. mycetomi was isolated from a 15 cm lesion on the foot of a 28-yr-old man and from a swelling affecting the whole dorsum and medial aspect of the foot of a 31-yr-old man. There was no bone abnormality in either case. These are the first cases reported in Egypt.
