Autopsy, biopsy and clinical study of over 100 cases with late cutaneous schistosomiasis (Schistosoma haemotobium) in Lourenco Marques, Mozambique, forms the basis for a detailed and illustrated description of the pathology, histology and symptomatology of this disease. The authors present an hypothesis to explain the evolution of the various lesions and their association with tumours, secondary infections etc. There are 87 references.
