The diagnosis of schistosomiasis is reviewed for the medical profession with emphasis on atypical symptoms. Hepatic infection, pulmonary hypertension, cutaneous infection, abdominal tumours and the effect of infection on scholastic ability are discussed. 30 references are cited.
