Normal values are given for blood calcium, inorganic phosphate, sugar, urea nitrogen, uric acid, cholesterol, total protein, albumin, total bilirubin, alkaline phosphatase, lactic dehydrogenase and serum glutamic oxalacetic transaminase, whole blood haemoglobin, white blood cell count, plasma catecholamines, plasma steroids, respiration rate, tidal volume and oxygen consumption for 16 Holstein-Friesian calves.
