Resulting by the interaction between the hereditary factor and the environmental factor, the occurrence and development of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is a complicated course with multi-genes and multi-factors. As the third genetic marker, the single nucleotide polymorphism reflects the hereditary difference among individuals, decides the susceptibility to disease and becomes an important tool to study the hereditary susceptibility of HCC.
