N.N.Petrov Research Institute of Oncology, St.PetersburgPatients with stage III Hodgkin's disease (110) received 2-3 courses of combination chemotherapy followed by total or subtotal irradiation, or exposure of primarily involved lymph nodes. The study did not include patients with persistent symptoms of intoxication. Overall 5- and 10-year survival rates were 78 and 68%, recurrence-free- 75 and 74% respectively.
