The results of anthropometric examination and of determination of the extent of development of secondary sexual signs in 2232 girls aged from 7 to 19 years are presented. The age of from 10 to 16 should be considered to be the borders of puberty. The average age of menarche in girls of Moscow is 13 years and 3 months.
