Faecal samples were collected directly after defecation from living Egyptian deer, Dorcas gazelles. 28 out of 63 (44.44 %) faecal samples harboured gastrointestinal nematode eggs. The positive faecal samples were cultured to collect the infective third stage larvae (L3) for taxonomic identification. They were Trichostrongylus colubriformis, Ostertagia ostertatgi and Oeseophagostomum venalosum.
