This paper presents the preliminary estimated evapotranspiration and evaporative fraction values derived from NOAA/AVHRR and METEOSAT satellite imagery processing chains as a result of the measurements of carbon dioxide, water vapour and energy exchange in forest ecosystems in Europe.
