One new phenylethanoid glycoside from Corallodiscus flabellata

Aim To study the antivirus chemical constituents of Corallodiscus flabellata. Methods The compounds were isolated with macroporous absorption resin, Diaion HP-20, Sephadex LH-20, silica gel column chromatography and identified on the basis of their physio-chemical and spectral data. Results Four compounds were obtained and identified as 1'-O-beta-D-( 3, 4-dihydroxyphenyl)-ethyl-6'-O-vanilloyl-glucopyranoside (1); 1'-O-beta-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-ethyl-beta-D-apiofuranosyl-(1fwdarw2')-glucopyranoside (2); 4- hydroxyphenethyl alcohol (3); his (2-hydroxyethyl) ether (4). Conclusion Compound 1 is a new compound, compounds 2 -4 were isolated from Corallodiscus flabellata for the first time.
