Milk samples (126) from individual sows undergoing nutritional trials were analysed for % protein by the standard Kjeldahl and modified Pro-Milk methods. The SD of differences between the methods was +or-0.20 and a correlation coeff.of 0.92 was derived from linear regression, showing that the Pro-Milk is accurate for protein estimation in sows' milk and has inter-species potential.
