The geographic distribution and classic forms of African Kaposi's sarcoma are discussed, including the in vitro effect of iron on Kaposi's sarcoma cells and the iron status of patients with Kaposi's sarcoma. Therapeutic options for the treatment of Kaposi's sarcoma are also considered.
