Criteria for the economic evaluation of development projects

Evaluations are usually made from three points of view: the national interest, the interest of the farmer and the interest of the body managing and financing the project. Before such an evaluation can be made, it is essential that the project be clearly defined and its technical data known, and further that a general economic development plan should already be in existence.
