The paper makes an exposition of materials derived from experimental investigations of trifluoro-acetic and pentafluoropropionic acids. The nature of their action upon the animal organism and clinical manifestations of poisoning are described. The authors recommend a tentative maximum permissible concentration of both substances in the atmosphere of industrial premises. The authors claim that both acids do not possess properties specific to mono -compounds, produce irritating action and cauterize tissues at the site of their application.
