Chronic duodenal ileus due to tuberculosis stricture--a rare cause

A case of chronic duodenal ileus due to obstruction caused by tuberculous stricture of the duodenum is presented. Diagnosis of tuberculosis was made on histopatholegical examination of the lymph nodes draining the affected portion of the duodenum. The patient was relieved by duodenojejunostomy and antituberculosis therapy.
