In two patients, differential diagnoses of lymphoma, tuberculosis, adenocarcinoma and Crohn's disease were considered as the cause of duodenal obstruction, but a definite diagnosis of duodenal tuberculosis could be made only by histopathological examination, as is common in this disease. It is emphasised, that duodenal tuberculosis being a treatable condition, must be looked for in all patients of duodenal obstruction by a histopathological examination of the involved tissue.
