In human heamocultures and line of HeLa cells chromosomal changes have been Mdruced by cyclophosphamide, atropine, scopolamine, homatropine, ampliciline and EDTA. The strongest inductor was activated cyclophosphamide, which induced a chromatide type of chromosomal changes. The other medicaments caused mostly a non specific aggregation of the chromosomes and their use bears no danger of genetic transformation of somatic cells.
