An outbreak of naturally occurring sheep scab in a flock of 207 sheep was successfully treated with 3 consecutive weekly injections of ivermectin (200 micro g/kg s.c.). Plunge dipping ewes during early pregnancy was not considered appropriate on welfare grounds.
