A case of primary tuberculosis of stomach having fever, colicky pain, gradually enlarging painful epigastric lump and features of intestinal obstruction, is presented. Radiologically, perforation of the stomach leading to formation of perigastric abscess was suspected. On histological examination of the resected specimen, tuberculosis of the stomach was diagnosed. There was no evidence of tubercular lesion elsewhere in the body.
