Breeding value of stud bulls was evaluated by methods of comparison of daughter and herd-mate productivity for milk production at the reproductive crossing of Red Step and Holstein cattle. It was shown with a sufficient degree of certainty and legitimacy that such methods of comparison of Holstein bull daughters with the cross-bred herd mates without regard to their inheritance may be extensively used.
