For 259 daughters of 5 AI bulls, age at 1st mating ranged from 570 to 602 days, age at 1st calving from 865 to 927 days, fertility index from 1.27 to 1.73, and percentage of females conceiving to 1 insemination from 53.8 to 75.7. It was concluded that age at 1st calving and the percentage of females conceiving to 1 insemination would give the most accurate indication of the fertility of a bull's daughters. Bull fertility was significantly correlated with that of their daughters.
