A description is given of the Atlas of the Global Distribution of Schistosomiasis, prepared by the Centre d'etudes de geographie tropical and WHO, scheduled for publication at the end of 1984. An illustration of the type of material to be found in the Atlas is given in Annex I on pp.193-199 (Human schistosomiasis in Upper Volta, map no.8).
