Three case of trichinosis are reported from the same family in Mexico. In each case the source of infection was raw pork. The main symptoms were myalgia and proximal muscle weakness resembling polymyositis. Diagnosis was made by demonstrating larvae of Trichinella spiralis in muscle biopsy specimens and also the presence of anti- Trichinella antibodies by double immunodiffusion.
