Mitotic chromosomes from larval neuroblast cells of Anopheles stephensi, A. fluviatilis, Aedes aegypti and Culex quinquefasciatus were prepared employing a technique previously adopted for Drosophila and Anopheles spp. The technique provided well-spread, well-stained and flat somatic chromosome complements.
