In 10 children aged 8-15 years ulcerative colitis was diagnosed. Treatment was based on Nalcrom (disodium cromoglycate). Remission was achieved in 8 children with evidence of.atopy. The obtained results suggest that Nalcrom should he the drug of choice in the management of patients with allergy-related ulcerative colitis.
