Disodium cromoglycate has a strong place in the differentiated treatment of asthma. Especially the use is indicated in extrinsic asthma, but trials of treatment are also indicated in other kinds of asthma. It is reported about the present ideas of pharmacodynamics. Own results of examinations in an open study of 15 patients and a crossed double-blind-study of 40 patients are discussed.
