The philosophy of the Integrated Project (on Family Planning, Nutrition, and Parasite Control) is that family planning should be more allied with family health welfare than with population control. Parasite control, therefore, is a good companion project for family planning. Guidelines have been developed for this. A National Steering Committee is necessary. The guidelines include suggestions for budget control, personnel, and the baseline survey among others. Parasite control is completely described. Other technical advice is also given in the guidelines.
