An attempt was made to study the possibility of using monoclonal antibodies to influenza A/Krasnodar/101/59 (H2N2) hemagglutinin in various modifications of enzyme immunoassay for the detection of viral antigen and antibodies in biological fluids. The experimental data indicate that competitive enzyme immunoassay with the use of 2 types of monoclonal antibodies (KR-3-30 and Kr-20) is more specific and sensitive than the traditional hemagglutination inhibition test. It may be recommended as a reference test for the detection of antihemagglutinins H2 in biological fluids.
