The distribution patterns of chicken liver lysosomal enzymes were studie d in iso-osmotic gradients of Percoll. The lysosomal enzymes separated by Percoll gradients showed three different types of distribution. In contrast with rat liver lysosomes, purified chicken liver lysosomes were very stable during storage at 4.degree. C.
