It has been shown that there exists a relationship between the impairment of blood rheologic properties, red blood cell form and deformability and the changes in protein-lipid interactions in the erythrocytic membranes during long-term storage of blood preserved in solution "Glugicir" at 4 .+-. 2.degree. C.
