Immunological responsiveness in CBA-PH and C57BL-6 mice and in their first backcross generation

Female mice of the C57BL/6 and CBA/Ph strains differ in their responsiveness to the -specific antigen. While 6* skin isografts are all rejected by C57BL/6, 63.6% of CBA tend to retain the isografts. An attempt was made to analyse this strain difference genetically and to find out, by testing both strains for responsiveness to a variety of other antigens, whether it is confined to the -specific antigen.
