Values are tabulated for 15 serum proteins in 260 normal subjects, 8 to 95 years old. Haptoglobin and immunoglobin A increased and albumin and transferrin increased with age. alpha -Macroglobulin concentration decreased until age 50 and then there was some increase. Differences associated with sex were found for 10 proteins in some age groups.
