The authors studied the factors which have an effect on the rate of restoration of the purine mononucleoside pool in the liver of rats after 6.5-minute asphyxia. It was found that the intensity of 14C-adenosine and 14C-glycine incorporation into ATP was intensified in the first stages of the postresuscitation period. Inosine injection before asphyxia not only improves the function of the system of energy supply but reduces the intensity of lipid peroxidation in the membrane structures.
